I can't wait for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Tale, a prequel to the original series.
Shonda Rhimes, who will also serve as showrunner, made the announcement for the spinoff in May 2021. The Hollywood Reporter says that the limited series will have six episodes and will be about a younger version of Charlotte. There will also be stories about a younger Violet Bridgerton and a younger Lady Danbury.
On February 14, 2023, Netflix held a virtual sneak preview event for the series that was open to people all over the world. At the event, Rhimes and the main cast answered questions from the audience in real time. The official teaser trailer and new segments were also shown for the first time. The performers talked about the show's place in the larger Bridgerton universe, where their characters got their ideas, and what the show's themes and story points will be.
From what we've seen in the previews and preview episodes, this looks to be another masterpiece. It appears to be an interesting and attractive series. In spite of having not watched season two of the Bridgerton series, I want to watch this one as soon as possible. On May 4, 2023, Netflix will release the first episode of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Tale. Make sure you put this on your calendars right now!
